In addition to this announcement, IFC proclaimed that they planned to ensure the longevity and success of their new endeavors by expanding their production staff and increasing the output of scripted series, original documentaries, and features. As the first widely distributed network to run independent films 24 hours a day, uncut, and commercial free, the network has focused on developing the value of independent films for over a decade. The following is a preview of the three serial programs featured in August:In Hopeless Pictures, a dire Indie film studio struggles to maintain while dealing with the crazy directors and casts of their featured films.
