In May of 1996, a couple months before Sublime released it's self titled album that quickly became an overnight success, beloved Singer/Guitarist/Song writer Bradley Knowell suddenly and tragically died one night in a San Francisco hotel room when he overdosed on Heroin. After fighting his addiction for years, his death came as a shock to his loved ones who knew Nowell had been doing better. Only 28 at the time of his death, Nowell was survived by an infant son and a wife. To Commemorate Bradley Nowell and Sublime, those closest to them have collaborated with several major artists to record a tribute album. Titled Look at All the Love We Found: A Tribute to Sublime, the album features covers of the bands favorite songs performed by artists such as Jack Johnson, G Love, No Doubt, and Pennywise.Those involved in the project have agreed to donate part of the proceeds to Carlos Santana's Milagro Foundation, and MusiCares' MAP Fund, which provides addiction treatment for musicians. For any Sublime fan, it is truly a pleasure to see such famous artists come together to not only pay respect to the band, but to also help with such a noble cause.
