Local Events: Miami July 4

Happy Independence Day from Miami Poetry Review!

For Independence Day, there will be several fireworks displays and a slew of events throughout the greater Miami area. Miami Poetry Review would like to give you the heads up on all the safety rules and regulations for tonight so you don't spend the night in the county:

1. M80s, quarter, and half-sticks of dynamite are beyond illegal, Miami-Dade and B.S.O police have vowed to arrest first and ask questions later.

2. Most beaches DO NOT allow you to set off your own fireworks on the sand (mostly because people usually DO NOT pick up their trash).

3. Any fireworks that explode are illegal.

Below we have compiled a listing of most of the local events throughout Miami. Have fun, eat lots of Bar-B-Q, and drink lots of beer. God Bless America - It's a celebration B's.
