The annual Art Basel international art show will take place in Miami Beach, Florida from December 1 - 4, 2005.

Art Basel Miami Beach is the American sibling to the premier Art Basel event in Switzerland, which has taken place for the past 36 years. As part of the exhibition, 195 prominent art galleries from around the world will showcase the works of over 2000 artists at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The pieces on display will include renowned established artists, as well as cutting-edge newcomers.

In addition, the galleries and artists of Art Basel Miami Beach will be hosting a variety of related parties, music, film, and design events, around the city in favor of collectors, dealers, curators, critics and art enthusiasts alike.
