British rockers, Bloc Party, will be making a brief stop in the U.S. in April to play Coachella among a few other select venues, including Ft. Lauderdale's Revolution.

In case you're unfamiliar with Bloc Party, their debut album, Silent Alarm, was dubbed by NME.com as the album of the year, and also nominated for the coveted indie music award, the Mercury prize.

The music gods have smiled upon South Florida because Bloc Party will be playing five shows in the U.S. and Ft. Lauderdale happens to be one of the cities on the short list.

According to the box office at Revolution in Ft. Lauderdale, tickets go on sale Saturday, Feb. 18 at 10am and will be $25.00 in advance and $27.50 at the door.
Also noted, doors will open at 7pm and the show will most likely be held outdoors.
