Now that Avril Lavigne is a married women (tying the knot with Sun 41 frontman Deryck Whibley) I wanted to go over a few choice pieces of trivia regarding the mega-famous singer and songwriter:

-Let's start with some physical dimensions. Although she often comes off as sort of a tall and lanky girl, she is only 5'2''.

-Most people already know this, but just in case, Lavigne is Canadian. She is a native of Napanee, Ontario.

-Her favorite places to tour are England, New Zealand, Sardinia, Amsterdam.

-Lavigne has intimated that she is bored of singing and wants to move onto an acting career. She landed her first major film role recently, landing a voice-over gig in the upcoming animated feature Over the Hedge.

-Avril Lavigne has publicly ripped at least two other major female pop acts. In 2004, she indirectly critized Ashlee Simpson for her lipsynching fiasco, mentioning that it is pitiful how some young artists don't sing on their albums or in concert.
