Having a Birth-Child Making Pitt a Better Man?

Permalink | Comments (1) | RSS

Listening to Brad Pitt on NBC's "Today" show, you honestly had to get the impression that having a child has truly affected the actor's priorities in life.

Indicating that his children have helped him take the focus off himself, Pitt is now working with the national environmental organization Global Green USA as part of rebuilding New Orleans. Pitt is helping sponsor a competition that is designed to create ecologically sound housing and neighborhood designs the hurricane ravaged city.

Reading between the lines, Pitt gave the impression that his career as an actor might be over, or that he at least was putting it on hold for the time being. The shift in priorities had Pitt stating that "he had made some films" but now it was time to share his good fortune with those who may be less so.

Pitt and Angelina Jolie are the parents of three children, 6-week-old infant daughter Shiloh, 18-month-old toddler Zahara and 4-year-old Maddox. Shiloh is the couple's first child together, though Pitt is the adopted father of the two older children.
