George Michael Denies Drug Problems

Permalink | Comments (0) | RSS

Slumped over in a car with cannabis in the vehicle a familiar refrain for George Michael.

One day after he was found slumped over the steering wheel of his car, singer George Michael continued to insist he is not suffering from issues related to drug addiction.

The denial contrasted with the fact that police found cannabis in his auto after the singer was rushed to the hospital Sunday. The incident mirrored that of last February when he was also found slumped at the wheel of his car. Cannabis was found in his auto at that time as well.

George is barely one week into his much-hyped European Tour, having just completed four concert dates. Michael recently took the stage for his first solo concert in 15 years, performing before 18,000 fans in Barcelona. The Tour began less than two years after Michael announced the end of his pop career in February of 2005.

Results of the blood tests that were administered during the most recent brush with the law will not be available until November.
