Less than a month after being splashed across the Internet for her hard partying, Britney Spears apparently crashed completely, falling asleep in Las Vegas nightclub during the early morning hours of New Year's Day.

However, according to her manager, Spears was simply exhausted from leading the Celebration, so tired that she was falling asleep. Manager Larry Rudolph also insisted, "She was not drunk."

Details of Spears situation were sketchy. Bloggers had the 25-year-old collapsing and having to be carried from the club by her body guards. Rudolph insisted those versions were not accurate and that Spears walked out of the club under her own power.

Spears had been hired as the host of the New Year's Eve festivities at Caesar's Palace's PURE nightclub. The singer and mother of two young boys recently filed for divorce in November from her husband Kevin Federline.

Shortly thereafter, websites featured pictures of an inappropriately-clad Spears partying with other celebrities in anything but a motherly light.
