A tragic final chapter in the sad life of Anna Nicole Smith

Some might say that they could have seen this coming. Anna Nicole Smith has died suddenly, and tragically, at the age of 39.

The former Playboy model, who was famous for her Marilyn Monroe-esque pictorials, was found unconscious in her room at the Hard Rock Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. CPR was performed at the scene and Smith was rushed to a local hospital, but she passed away according to one of her lawyers.

Anna Nicole Smith has made headlines recently, due to a class-action suit that has been filed against both her and the makers of the TrimSpa dietary supplement which Smith has helped promote.

The former Playmate of the Year has also been in embroiled in a paternity battle of sorts over the true identity of Smith's six-month old daughter, Daniellyn. In addition, Smith's son, Daniel, was found dead in his mother's hospital room just three days after she gave birth to her daughter.

Smith gained prominence thanks to her Playboy stint, a bizarre and much publicized marriage to oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall (which led to a lengthy court battle over his estate), and "The Anna Nicole Smith Show", which portrayed her as an overweight and rather dim-witted character with apparent substance abuse issues.

The show was ripped by critics but developed a substantial cult following.

This last chapter in Anna Nicole Smith's life is perhaps the most tragic one of all, and will undoubtedly continue to make headlines for quite some time, as the facts surrounding her death come to light.

I guarantee Anna Nicole Smith lived a better 39 years than you would live in 3900.

What a terrible tragedy. You were loved by so many, with your platinum locks and bringing out the child in you. Bless
