In a bizarre twist to the Anna Nicole Smith saga, a third person has claimed paternal rights to Smith's six-month old daughter, Dannielynn.

On Friday, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, the husband of actress Zsa Zsa Gabor, announced that he had a decade-long affair with Smith and he may be the girl's father. He joins former boyfriend Larry Birkhead and lawyer turned lover Howard K. Stern, both of which are embroiled in a legal battle for the ownership rights of Smith's residence in the Bahamas, as potential fathers for the now motherless daughter.

And as if that wasn't enough, Anna Nicole Smith's former husband, Texas oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II, has also been tied to young Dannielyn. According to a New York Daily News report, a manuscript obtained by Smith's half-sister, Donna Hogan, says that the former Playboy centerfold froze the sperm of her late husband and may have used it to become pregnant.

Sadly, even in death, Anna Nicole Smith has remained a lightning rod of sorts, in terms of attracting scandal and other assorted forms of tabloid fodder.
