Rolling Stone asks the impossible: Nevermind or OK Computer

An article, recently published on Rollingstone.com, was brought to my attention the other day. I thought worth passing on, as it presented a question that had never previously occurred to me; and well, probably not to any of us - Which 90's album was more influential: Nirvana's Nevermind or Radiohead's O.K. Computer?

One could clearly make an argument both ways.

Nevermind buried "80's Big-Hair Rock" and spawned a genre of music, at the time, called "Grunge," which has since evolved into Indie or Alternative rock - arguably, the largest genre in rock music today.

As for OK Computer, it brought about a concept in music, at the time of its release, never heard before, known as Electronic-Rock Fusion, and it played a major role in shaping all electronically influenced rock music thereafter.

My personal opinion can best be summed up best by the words of a blogger named "Wigga with no aptitude," who left the following comment on the site, "Both of those albums are untouchable... it's like asking me which testicle do I want to keep... I WANT TO KEEP BOTH OF MY NUTS DAMMIT!... and I love OK Computer and Nevermind just as equally."
