Ira Levin, well-known playwright and novelist, died of natural causes on Monday at his New York Home. Levin, 78 was best known for his novels "Rosemary's Baby," "The Stepford Wives" and "The Boys From Brazil."
Commentary: Levin was known for being mild-mannered even if his novels did give everyone the creeps. Levin published only seven novels in four decades of writing, though his work did sell tens of millions of copies. Virtually every novel was made into a Hollywood movie and he also authored the immensely popular comic Broadway play "Deathtrap." |
