People magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" in 2005, Matthew McConaughey has announced that he is about to become a dad. The Wedding Planner star revealed the news publicly on his web site.

Commentary; For the Hollywood star it will mark his introduction to fatherhood. McConaughey announced that Camilla Alves, a Brazilian model, was three months pregnant and that he was the father. Said the 38-year-old star, "It's 3 months growin in her womb and all looks healthy and lively so far. We are stoked and wowed by this miracle of creation and this gift from God, and so excited for the adventure that will come in raising this child, being mother and a father, and shepherding him or her through this life."
