The teen trio known as the Jonas Brothers will perform two additional sold out shows this Thursday and Friday at the Nassau Coliseum. The popular group has now sold out 50-plus dates on a tour that has seen parents going to extreme measures to get tickets for their teenage children.

Commentary: The most far-fetched attempt to get tickets involved an essay contest. One mother concocted a story of her husband dying in Iraq to help her daughter win free tickets in the contest. Of course, helping the Jonas Brothers trio sell out is the fact that they will be joined by none other than Hannah Montana (Miley Cyrus).
