When David Letterman returns to the air Wednesday evening he will have the great fortune of having the immmensely talented Robin Williams as his guest. Williams replaces Donald Trump as the headliner as Letterman returns to the air amidst the writers strike.

Commentary: The rapid-fire comedian and movie star is not in need of any writers to deliver his incredible stream of conscious comedy lines. However, Letterman's team did reach an agreement to be able to bring their writers back to work as well. Letterman also signed country music singer Shooter Jennings for Wednesday's show, Bill Maher for Thursday while Trump will headline Friday's show with rap singer Lupe Fiasco.
