For the second time in less than a month pop singer Britney Spears has been taken from her home in an ambulance. TMZ reported that the emergency services were called to the Spears home at 1:30 a.m. and that Spears had been taken to the UCLA Medical Center.

Commentary: According to the same source, the ambulance was called by a psychiatrist that has been treating the troubled pop star. Also according to TMZ, Spears was placed in a section of the hospital for patients deemed to be a danger to themselves or others. The singer had previously been hospitalized at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in early January after a three-hour police stand-off at her home. The latest trip comes a day after her reported falling out with manager Sam Lufti.
