According to reports Britney Spears has fled Los Angeles and appeared to be headed towards the Big Apple to avoid the intervention planned by her family. Spears hopped on a private jet with boyfriend Adnan Ghalib and the couple flew to Teterboro Airport in New Jersey.

Commentary: Where Spears and her boyfriend went from Teterboro is still unknown. According to the blogosphere, Spears family was planning to have the troubled star removed from her home by police again so that she could be taken to a hospital for treatment. Spears was reportedly furious that her family spoke publicly about the Dr. Phil incident by going on NBC's "Today Show" Wednesday.
