Even by Hollywood standards the marriage was short. According to People magazine, actor Eddie Murphy and his bride of two weeks, Tracey Edmonds, have already split up.

Commentary: The couple married in French Polynesia on January 1st. However, the couple did not exchange vows on U.S. soil so the marriage was not in fact legal. Murphy divorced his wife of 13 years, Nicole, in 2006. The father of five children by that previous marriage, Murphy recently acknowledged he was the dad of Spice Girl's Melanie Brown's newborn. Edmonds meanwhile had split last year with her husband, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds.
